Week 6, Chest & triceps liift4 joelfreemanfitness liift4 done! I tried to keep the same weights as last week, but for the circuit format, I did 20's instead of 22.5 for tricep press so i wouldn't have to change on my selectech's. I'm glad I did because I was struggling in the 3rd round! I also had to go down to 25's for decline press because my form was suffering with 30's. It's crazy how doing exercises in a different order, or back to back, can affect the weight you use. I also used 15 instead of 17.5 for tricep kickbacks so I wouldn't have to stop to adjust with the selectech's. Push up burn out?! I was able to stay on my toes for most of the wide ones, but it was all knees for me with the tricep push ups, and I fell out of them in the 3rd round. Muscle. If you aren't seeing much progress, chances are you are doing one or more of the things on the left side. Take these ideas into consideration when training chest. - (1) TRAIN CHEST 2-3/WEEK: If you throw more frequency towards a body part, cahnces are you'll see more growth. Normally 2x a week will work just fine, but you can bump it p to 3x a week if you are struggling to make it grow. - (2) DON'T NEGLECT INCLINE PRESSES: Many people will only do flat bench, and won't involve incline presses in any way. Including incline presses can really help develop the upper chest to make your whole chest look bigger overall. - (3) TRAIN FOR STRENGTH AND HYPERTROPHY: Many people don't see results because they are varying their rep ranges. Train heavy for low reps as well as lighter for higher reps. The mixture of these 2 can help make the chest GROW! - (4) PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD: This one is the most important. Went from 23 inches to barely 7 and I'm low-key feeling it 💇🏻‍♀️ I have always wanted extremely long hair and my hair hasn't been this short since I was about 7 but sometimes it's better to let go. For the past 2 years I had bleached my hair to achieve the white platinum colour and my hair ended up in the most awful condition. So much of my hair snapped off and the rest of it was so awfully dry. This made me feel so self conscious and it started to have an impact on my confidence. As much as I didn't want short hair,there was no point holding on to damaged hair that would never grow or look healthy.
