The days I was most tired, I still showed up. I always found that one last push I could give. It’s probably the way someone in the gym feels. The fact is, the road to building something truly great takes serious work, time and patience.
I’m always telling people that it would be advantageous to pursue anything that is alignment with your soul; that bigger picture vision because it will not be overnight. Even the shit that’s glorified on social media has a backstory and they too are still trying to figure it all out. That’s the journey my friends.
Building something for mass appeal and scale takes time. It’s truly an evolutionary process. I had mentioned my friend D runwildwithme_ in the video. It took her 10 years to say she’s truly found her style. I’m sure that will evolve too, but to see someone truly feel their style after a decade long of discovery is a feeling I want all people to understand.
We spoke about it because people are always coming to us to ask us to teach them things. With her it’s art. With me it’s writing, mindset, spirituality, business, branding, you name it. And the fact is, it’s not something taught over night. It’s learned through dedicated practice. We can certainly teach it, but that’s only part of the journey. The rest is up to you to build something that you’re truly dedicated to it’s core mission and the overall purpose of your life.
