Today is exactly 2 months after I tendered my resignation, and officially the last day as part of the Breast Cancer Foundation team.
It has been an amazing rollercoaster ride, with many ups and downs, tossing and turning, jerks and free-falls that often challenged me and took my breath away, but most definitely left me with many fond memories and lessons learned.
Through it all, I am just blessed that I took that ride with the company of these amazing individuals. They have made this rollercoaster ride fun, memorable and meaningful.
To the best BCF team I know, we did our ultimate best, and though some may turn a blind eye to what we've accomplished over the past year, I believe the rest of the world sees it. I have enjoyed every minute of our time together, and will miss you all tremendously.
To my beloved breast cancer warriors and caregivers, please know that you are the main reason why I continued to stubbornly work hard despite all the health issues, stress and challenges. I set out looking to do my part to help others, and I feel I have done my best to accomplish that so you are well taken care of. You have inspired me to be better, stronger than ever before, and I love you all wholeheartedly. I will always be rooting and cheering for you all, and wish you a long, healthy and happy life always. ♥️ Thank you all for the fond memories and please stay in touch! This is not goodbye, merely a temporary parting. We will meet again, insyaaAllah!
Love, Nanie. 😘
