Lately I have been feeling so good. I am definitely struggling with my weight loss this summer because the beers are flowing and the fry trucks are out and I'm ready to indulge and make memories with my friends and family... Couple of exercises from my push deload session. Just went for some AMRAP sets with reasonable weight. Bench press, 120kg/264lbs x10 and incline alternate arm DB press, 35kg/77lbs x9 each arm. For all of you people that have a problem with the people that post their fitness progress.... this is all I have to say to you ...🖕🏻 We work our asses off to see this progress . We put in hard work, Dedication, Time, And honestly our heart and souls. I get that you don’t get it. I get that the fitness life isn’t for everyone. What I don’t get is why people think they need to try to pull us down for building ourselves up and becoming better healthier humans. These progress pics help inspire people. They help motivate people. Sometimes they’re what gets people in the gym to better themselves (me). I personally used Instagram and progress pics as my own motivation to better myself and to push myself to build my body to wear I want it to be and to better myself in the process. Without the gym these last 4 years I probably would have had a mental breakdown. People battle with things that no one else knows about sometimes, maybe the gym is their way out, I know it was and will always be mine. So I guess with that said, stop tearing people down for these. Start lifting them up and praising them for all their hard work and for wanting to be a better human. You don’t know what the gym means to some people and you don’t know what everyone is going through. WOD Wednesdays!!! Wednesdays we have pretty bad doms from leg day Tuesdays, so we usually take it easy and get moving with a few different Barbell and Kettlebell complex’s, so nothing too heavy. Today was the usual 21-15-9 format for Barbell Thrusters and burpees. No video this week, as we were dying but I did post this last week 😁. Then we did 3 rounds of 5 e/s KB clean and press 10 KB swings 5 e/s KB snatches. A good little circuit which makes you 💦

On the right is me during my bulk and on the left is me now mid-way through my cut. It has been successful so far I've lost 16 pounds and I'll tell you exactly what I did. 1. -- Exercise -- I did one hour of cardio 5 days a week preferably fasted before breakfast but sometimes i would split it up or do it at night, as long as it got done. My target heart rate was 135bpm I would come back later in the day for a weight training session. I'm currently doing my own push, pull, legs routine. I can't put all the info in this post but I can help you make a progam if you want. 2. -- Diet -- A typical meal was 6oz lean meat and a half cup of of sweet potato or brown rice. I would have that three times a day plus two small protein shakes and a blue apron dinner. All spaced 2 hours apart. For the more advanced, I ate 1 gram of carbs,  1 gram of protein and 1/2 a gram of fat per lb of bodyweight. For me this comes out to about 2300 calories (this will change as your body weight does) 3.--Set specific short term goals -- on top of your long term goal. Such as "I'm going to do my cardio today, I'm going eat my prep meals instead of fast food this week , I'm going to lose 6lbs in the next two weeks". Even if your goal is to lose 50lb having smaller easier goals will help you work harder and push further. It's like that little boost of motivation you get when you see the finish line. Why not give your self a dozen finish lines to cross and constantly feel motivated during your long-term plan.  I've tried a lot of different things over the past 6 years and this is whats work the best for me.  I wish you the best in your own journey.
