Explosive Band Work 💥 You don’t need weights to increase your vertical. You can do it with just body weight or even with a resistance band. These were: Band Squats: 3x10 Band Goodmornings: 3x10 Line Jumps: 3x50 Everything explosive!!! 💥🏋🏽‍♂️🏋🏽‍♂️ With that said, weight training will DEFINITELY help you increase your vertical more than body weight or resistance bands. I don’t always track my macros.. • 🔹 In my opinion, if you are CONSTANTLY tracking your food intake.. you aren’t really learnt anything. It's like riding a bike but having the stabilisers on throughout life, you never really learn the skills to do things on your own, and experience true freedom and enjoyment of food. • 🔹 Flexible Dieting is my thing.. and a big part of that is the freedom you get with food choices. The way I see it, if you’re religiously eating to set numbers for pretty much your whole life - that IS NOT freedom. You’re no better off than someone following a strict meal plan. Using the art of ‘Tracking Macros’ to gain knowledge on Macros for common foods, to then use in all kinds of situations - makes the most sense to me. You see.. • 🔹 There’s going to be occasions, where it won’t be possible to track your food intake. Whether you’re on the go and don’t have the time, whether there’s no nutritional data where you’re eating, or whether you’re simply out on a nice social occasion, and you don’t want to be ‘that guy who tracks everything’.. It’s handy to have that knowledge, in times where you can’t be saved by MyFitnessPal. • So here's some tips on staying on top of your diet while not tracking ⬇️ • 1️⃣ Make INTUITIVE choices. Wherever you are, there’s always going to be ‘smart’ options to pick from. Go for the lean-protein sources, the lower carb options, and avoid any meal dense with Carbs / Fats if you want to keep the calories down . 2️⃣ Use NEAT activities or extra exercise to increase your expenditure, and give you a bit of a safety net . 3️⃣ If the restaurant displays the Calories / Macros for foods on the menu, use that as a guideline to make a good choice . 4️⃣ Don’t be an absolute Fuck Up Artist and go completely overboard😂 • Long term, Tracking Macros is THE accountability tool to make sure you stay on track. The reality is, you can consume the same amount of food, as long as your choices are lower in calories. EXAMPLE: A pop tart has 200 calories, whereas a rice cake only contains 50 calories. It’s a lot easier if you make SOME healthy substitutions rather than ONLY eating smaller portions on unhealthy choices. Oh my!!! What a disaster. I realized 2 things today. First, I've barely been to the gym in 2 weeks. The photo shows my gym attendance. Second....I just realized I've inadvertently been tranquilizing myself for the last 2 weeks. This explains EVERYTHING. I've literally been a Zombie. During my 60 day transformation, I felt like I was 18 years old and had all of the energy in the world. I felt phenomenal EVERY DAY. My eyes were so focused and wide open, it was actually noticeable. I was totally dialed in and operating at a total peak level. The last 2 weeks...I've been running on fumes. Long story short, I recently got super excited about a truly wonderful diet and supplement company (that I do believe in). The problem is that it is quite complicated and apparently, at least in my case, there can be non ideal outcomes. Well...I'm going to make a pretty cool choice. I'm going to go back to the remarkable plan i followed to lose 40 pounds in 60 days. And I'm going to finish out the last 40 or 45 days of this "2nd stage" I guess you could say I'm in. What I like about this idea, is that now really fit people can see what sort of transformation is possible in just 2 months. And I'm going to show them it's possible to achieve the amazing fit and healthy body they really want without too much effort, not having to do a crazy diet, and not having to be an emotional wreck. And the more I think about this, I think it can also be a good example for the young people who are really self conscious now...especially in this digital age. With so many young ladies (and guys) suffering from eating disorders, being able to show them the path to their desire for great looks actually has to travel down the simple to follow road of super healthy living and eating. Well...wish me luck everyone. Ps...the only thing I will change this time around is that I will do a leg day (I look a little silly now with such small legs 🙈). And...I'm going to do more cardio. Mostly, because I really want to. Now that I'm so light, it feels really good to run. 😊😊😊

When you want to continue getting better, you make sure the best are in your corner with you. I’ve been more of the heavy drop set workout type but my mans mookfacekillah had me feeling like Gumby with solid form, slower pace reps and lighter weights to feel the full burn. 2014(143lbs)➡️2018(186lbs). Years of dedication and persistence lead to this transformation. Started back in the day with lifting cinder blocks, body weight excercises, and cardio. Progressing to a home gym/gym membership. You may not have money for a membership but that's no excuse. There are so many calisthenic exercises you can do without equipment(DM for a list). Get out and improve yourself, even if it's just for a half hour a few times a week. I see too many patients with CHF, about 1 out of every 9 deaths is due to heart failure! If not for you, do it for your loved ones. Yes that is a birthmark on my back, and yes I used to be insecure about it. I was going to have it removed until I spoke to my Mom about it. Apparently the mark was inherited from my Italian ancestors and that a lot of my family had/has it in some form. What if it's our imperfections that make us unique? Should we really be ashamed of something that makes us different? Hell no.
