There are also dudes that think they know EVERYTHING about lifting so they try to correct your form and generally walk around like a beefed fuckboy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is what turns women away from lifting. This is why guys (who were like myself when I started) hate going to the gym. Pictures from yesterdays squat session 🏋️‍♀️ I had to quit almost every exercise and set yesterday, after feeling severe chest pain that never went away. Saw a doctor, took an EKG of my heart - everything being fine, the doctor concluded I have strained muscles in my chest 😳 One week without lifting weights, and light to moderate training. If I still experience pain after that one week, I most likely have pressure on my nerves that won't go away unless I get physiotherapy. Extrwmely. Fun 💯 Did swimming today. Cardio tomorrow, yoga thursday, and cardio the rest, if my body allows me. Lets take a min to talk recovery because ya girl is strugglin to walk😂😂 • • •1️⃣ FOOD/WATER: First off you need to fuel your body with proper nutrition. 70% diet 30% gym. You CANNOT and you WILL NOT out work a crappy diet. Ensuring that you get the correct amount of nutrients is important to support weight loss and muscle growth and essential to replenishing your body. As far as water goes you should aim for a gallon a day!! 💦💦💦 •2️⃣REST/SLEEP. Running 20 miles a day and lifting for 3 hours is not the answer to getting the results you want. On a serious note, LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. If something hurts, stop. If something tears, breaks, stretches, etc, STOP. Do not overwork yourself. Instead, set goals and work your way up to where you want to be. Give yourself time to rest and although sleeping for 8 hours a day isn’t realistic...like at all...hahaha try to get as much sleep as possible. •3️⃣Stretching/Foam rolling. Well if you’re anything like me you struggle to touch your toes😂😂. I personally HATE stretching... but it is so important!!! Stretching improves flexibility, posture and can even prevent injuries. QUICK TABATA😈 ________________________________________________ Gdy nie ma czasu, gdy nie ma siłowni, gdy chcemy się szybko zmęczyć - przychodzi z pomocą tabata🙆‍♀️✌ . Zasady są proste : 20sek pracy, 10sek przerwy, 4 ćwiczenia x 4 rundy, zasuwamy na maksa do ostatniej sekundy🔥(nawet się rymuje👌) . Nie musi być z ciężarkiem aczkolwiek fajnie można progresować zwłaszcza u panów, może być i butelka z wodą😉 Na filmie macie: 1.
