20 Oct 2019,📍Guss Damn Good
With the humidity and heat in Thailand, I only managed to survive by consuming an unholy volume of iced treats.
I stumbled across this Ice cream shop in a neat little place called ‘The Commons’ (thumbs up to @eatitauckland for the suggestion), a vast and open precinct containing variety of other small eateries within…. But I’ll talk about it more on the next post.
The ice cream selection was decent, with a range of enticing flavours (like Longan flower honey, Yuzu, Horlicks, Genmaicha and ginger etc). The one which endeared me was the Cherry and Cream Cheese flavour - maybe because it was reminiscent of my fave Duck Island Flavour (guess what it is!). Anything that tastes remotely of a fruity cheesecake is enough to make me weak at the knees.
WIth the selection of quirky flavours of ice cream here, in a hand-scooped format, it was a nice way to be reminded of home where we have some sort of Dairy or Ice cream shop around every corner!
