Since starting my photo page, @shreevephoto, I’ve been posting a lot less frequently here. I’ll try to be better about that.
Anyway, the very day our governor announced the “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” plan, a small group of drifty boiz were out at @theschoolofdrift at @parc_drift practicing social distancing - very limited driver count, no tandems, no spectators, and only one fortunate media person, me.
I saw it as my first and final attempt (for the foreseeable future) to revisit shooting motorsport in film, this time with my “new” toy, the Mamiya M645 1000s, a completely manual medium format SLR produced from 1975-1990.
Overall, being horribly out of practice and with rapidly changing weather conditions, I would yield very few usable images, but gain plenty of knowledge, which was my main goal for the day.
Here are a few examples of easily the best looking car out there, this C33 Laurel driven by PNW OG, @idriftpdx.
