On the next day after opening my “America is a great place to live”show at Royal Nebeker Art Gallery in Astoria, Oregon, I did workshops for the local community and students of Clatsop Community College. We talked about how to unteach art and later did some hands on activity of painting with yolk tempera that was made from scratch.
It was great to bring these classes to Astoria and see how much fun it was. On the other hand it was a great take away for me, interaction with likeminded people and an opportunity to talk to real Americans and see what’s their take on a current situation in their country.
Some profound thoughts, conversations, tears of happiness and most of all a meeting with great people.
If you’d like to have some classes with me in the Bay Area, let me know. I did enjoy it and think I can teach you a lot and at the same time learn from a local Bay Area community.
