Reposted from @biblequote7 (@get_regrann) - Although Apostle Paul suffered in many ways for his faith, he did not lose heart because God kept strengthening him day by day, and he looked forward to his eternal reward. Truly, Paul's troubles were certainly not light, but he understood that they were light and momentary in comparison to eternity.
In the same way, the problems we face here and now are very real and painful but they also are TEMPORARY.
For Christians, although our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed and strengthened every day because we are IN CHRIST.
Thus, trust in God's promises which are eternal; they will outlive our temporary problems and carry us to Heaven, where there is ETERNAL PEACE with no problems, no pain, no death, no tears (Revelation 21:4). Amen 🙏🏻
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (BSB),
16. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day.
17. For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that is far beyond comparison.
18. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
