First official MS4 rotation and the first time I saw CSF (it really does look like water). Interventional Pain is a non stop go go go subspecialty! Today really tested my spine anatomy and pharmacokinetics. Also it took me the longest time today to “see” what the attending saw on the X-ray, but it all made so much more sense the longer I stared at it - anyone else suffer from this med stud X-ray vision ailment? The patients were the most thankful patients I’ve yet to encounter in medicine. It’s great how you approach pain from so many different angles, from posture to emotional stress to work and life space adjustments not just oral medicine and injections. I have a lot to learn and quite a bit of “hmw” but MS4 Electives are awesome!
