Everyone, at some point in their entrepreneurial journey, needs a lifeline.
While out hiking in St George a few months ago, I got to the end of this canyon and noticed this rope hanging from a 20 ft ledge. Someone who had gone before had attached a climbing rope to help guide those who wanted to take the same hike. They made an otherwise difficult climb easier for those to follow. It seems pretty obvious that if you want to go on to the next level of the hike, that you would use the help.
The same is true for a creative business (if we’re being honest, ANY small business). Building a photography, floral, catering, planning, product, dress design... is hard work and we’re all doing the best we can. Just googling a solution to your problem (Instagram algorithm hacks, anyone? 😝) shows that you are willing to improve yourself and your business. And that sometimes is the hardest part- admitting that you don’t know everything and need help.
Whether you attend a workshop, invest in a course, or a degree at Google University, do the best you can with what you have.
👏🏼 What do you struggle with in your creative business? Is it more mindset or how to do something? I’m curious!
