A nice sunny afternoon walk/visit around historic Old Sacramento. Pics taken Saturday, August 10, 2019. This was during our all-guys trip to Sacramento, CA… There were 10 of us. We were like the gang of The Cornerstone SJ Church!
*Our trip in summary:
We left around 9:30 a.m. after meeting up with the rest of the crew in Milpitas. The drive was nice all the way to Roseville, CA, which was where our 1st activity was (Rockin' Jump Trampoline Park). Upon arriving, they were still closed until 3 p.m. so we went to Westfield Galleria to eat lunch & walk around a bit. Later, we went to the Roseville Golfland Sunsplash to do go-kart racing (my 1st time) & play some arcade games. By 3 p.m., we headed back to do 2 games of laser tagging at the Rockin' Jump Trampoline Park. It was fun & was also my 1st time playing this game. Then, we checked in at the Residence Inn in Rancho Cordova, CA. After resting up, we ate dinner at the grill area in the front of the inn. The weather was perfect out. Then we had worship/devotion at Pastor's room. As 8 p.m. neared, we went to the JAR Studios Escape to do an escape room (my 1st time too)! It was interesting and thrilling & the theme was an apocalyptic setting. The owner of the escape room ended up helping us a lot. We ended the day by watching Endgame back at the inn. By the next day, Saturday, August 10, 2019, we had continental breakfast, had devotion at 9:30 & then headed to Old Sacramento to explore around, eat a snack & checked out the California State Railroad Museum. We then headed back home just after 2 p.m. There was quite a bit of traffic on the way back. Spontaneously, we decided to eat our early dinner at Fuddruckers in Dublin, CA. We then continued our final homestretch back to reality (after seeing quite a few crazy drivers in the process). Anyways, safe travels!
