Autumn has finally arrived here in Germany which means 1) pumpkin season is officially opened, 2) it’s getting a lot colder now and 3) it’s time for OATMEAL BOWLS in the morning 🥣 Today I cooked an old favorite of mine for breakfast: vanilla berries oats! It was super tasty, though one thing that annoys me about this is that I always get stuck something between my teeth because of the raspberries I put in it 🙃 But besides that, I enjoyed this bowl so much 😋 For topping I went with blueberries, a fig (which I cut in a flower shape - so cute! 🌸), soy protein crispies and coconut almond butter 🤤 .
Yesterday I gave my first yoga class after finishing my yoga teacher training back in July. I have to say that I was pretty scared of doing it - I didn’t feel ready to teach someone, I felt like I wouldn’t be taken serious enough as a teacher. That was clearly my ego talking and in the moment I realized that, I pushed myself even more and wanted to prove to myself that I actually CAN do this. So I went to my cousin, who I was going to teach, and even though I had so many doubts about this, I gave her a solo yoga session. With much success 🙌🏼 She enjoyed it and gave me great feedback, which I didn’t expect at all to be honest! Also a thing I realized is how far I‘ve come in my own practice: she was a complete beginner and therefore even the most basic poses were challenging to her, whereas I didn’t feel anything really after this class. Thinking that I once was where she is now, I see how much I progressed in yoga and how much strength I also got - physically but also MENTALLY. Because yoga is a mental practice too. And it is one I would recommend to everyone out there 🧘🏼♀️
