although we may be in a dark season or a trial or maybe just a tiresome filled day, we still have the ability to shine light to one another. (if you haven’t already, give a listen to Sun & Moon by Phil Wickham). not only do we shine Christ to others as we cling onto Him in dark times, but we let go of this world as we are fully captivated by him. — Revelation 21:23 —> and the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. <— here are the lyrics from one of my favorite hymns ever: “and the things of earth will grow strongly dim in the light of His glory and grace”. it’s a beautiful promise that Helen Lemmel wrote down in her hymn. when we draw close to Him, we are immersed in His goodness and glory which casts out all darkness, dead, shame, unworthy-ness, guilt, pressure, burden, addiction, lis, and other sorts. and as we draw close to Him, we always shine to others, just as Moses did coming off of Mount Sinai. chase after your quiet time with Him and fight for that time. spend some time in Light. spend some time with Him. ~from, ela.
