𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲. Just a reminder.    Throughout many years I struggled with finding balance in my life that works for me, constant dieting and excessive exercising.    And even though I finally found a balance that works me and I do feel comfortable in my skin, I still find myself in situations when I beat myself up for eating that cake or skipping my workout, or not being "perfect" ( is it even a thing???!!)    But you know what?  Now my life motto is: 𝐁𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭.  I pledge to let go of all the expectations and to do the best I can to nourish my body and mind.     What’s the thing you don’t do perfectly that you will give yourself permission to not do perfectly in 2021? 👇🏻

Are you the resolution-making type? I love big goals. If we want big things to happen, we must think big and make big goals. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ BUT there is a downside to making too many big goals at one time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The work to complete those goals can feel daunting and overwhelming. And our focus can be stretched thin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Change takes a lot of planning, self control, and energy. By focusing on one goal at a time, you allow yourself to put all of your effort towards that singular outcome. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Break your bigger goals into short term goals with a tangible “completion point”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And when you reach that point, move on to your next shorter term goal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A long term goal will most likely require ongoing habit change. It is more beneficial to master one change, one step first rather than to halfway achieve two or three. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When you reach a point where the steps to maintain the goal have become habitual, it will require less energy to continue making those steps. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Then you will have more energy that you can invest into your next big goal! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒈𝒐𝒂𝒍𝒔.
