See below for details: Posted @withregram • @slew.cpt On Sept 27, I'm fundraising in the Ride for Refuge to call attention to some people and priorities that I'm passionate about. I'll be doing a freestyle ride where I'll do as many pull ups as I can over 2 hours. Although it only takes a few hours of my time, I hope to make a difference. By participating in the RIDE, I'm speaking for people who have little or no voice and who often get left behind or ignored. And by fundraising, I'm supporting a charity that is bringing hope and refuge to those same people. Thanks for supporting me!  The organization I'm fundraising for is @ratanakinternational. Posted @withregram • @patwuuuu 😭Do you skip workouts because you’re a little stiff, tired, or sore? - 👉If that’s you, I can relate. As athletic enthusiasts with busy dayjobs, something always aches a little, and you will rarely feel optimal. Before skipping yet another workout to take a nap, work through a warm up like what's shown her first and you may just feel better! - 📝So what’s a good warmup going to do for you? I’ll skip the fitness jargon for you: 1.Get the joints ‘oiled up’ and muscles warmed up. 2.Reduce those sensations of aches and pains. 3. Get you AWAKE so you can get after it! 💥These exercises shown (swipe!) are a couple movements I pieced together for my workout today. I felt stiff and in abit of pain after 9 straight days of heavy training! So convinced that I would have a terrible lift until...I hit a 5kg snatch PR at 110kg! - 📝 EXERCISES Clock Stretch: focuses on the thoracic spine, shoulders, and hip rotation Hamstring Pumps: focuses on the hamstrings and calves Couch stretch rockbacks: focuses on the quads and hip flexors Shoulder Extensions: Focuses on thoracic and shoulder extension - 🔥Save it, and try it to finally do something about your stiff body! Share with a friend that needs to move more! It has been super nice to see familiar faces again as more and more of our members are coming back in for Private Sessions over the past couple of weeks. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We are also excited to start up our Semi-Private classes again beginning June 8th! We realized this is a bit late as many other gyms have already started running classes again this week or earlier. However, our Semi-Private sessions run quite differently from other group classes since each member will need to be coached through a personalized program. We wanted to take the time to make the necessary changes to keep everyone safe without compromising the quality of our coaching.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We also were not in a rush to start up again because we never had to completely shutdown. Over the past two and a half months we were making changes on the go in order to provide as much to our members as we can. Here is a timeline of how we have adapted during this pandemic:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ March 12th - Increased cleaning and hygiene reminders for members. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ March 17th - Reduced all class sizes by half. Enforced physical distancing between members and coaches. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ March 19th - Facility professionally disinfected via fogging. Switched over to hospital grade disinfectant for daily use. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ March 20th - Started working on home programs and coaching videos for members who are choosing to self-isolate.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ March 28th - First virtual training session through Zoom.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ March 30th - All classes cancelled. Private Sessions by appointment only. ⁣⁣ ⁣ Since then we have reorganized the gym into 4 training areas. New equipment has also been ordered and installed in each area so that clients will not need to move outside of their area for the entire workout. Once we resume Semi-Private classes, we will be operating at half capacity until further notice (4 instead of our previous 8 clients per hour).⁣ ⁣⁣ If you are looking for a safe place to train, please reach out to us via DM or through our website!⁣
